| Here I am taking my fins off but having a hell of a time because my hands and feet are so frozen I cannot function properly. |

| Running up the beach to get to the kayaks, the soles of my feet are so frozen I cannot feel the multiple rocks scattered on the beach. This is a problem because you want to keep your feet in mint condition when racing several hours. |
